You all fired your head coach today. May I offer you a young vibrant exciting new coaching prospect? I understand that he has not proven himself as a head coach yet. And he makes 5 star recruits play like 2 star walk-ons, but at least he gets those 5 star recruits! What's that? Recruiting means nothing in the NFL?? Well, it's not really helpful in college either if you can't coach...
On the plus side, he will bring his daddy with him to coach the D! Ahhhh...nevermind...forget I mentioned that.
Look nfl teams. We know he SUCKS!! But at the end of the day, you owe us! Look at all the great players SC gave you over the years...and since Pat Haden forgot that he's allowed to fire coaches (I'm looking at you Kevin O'Neill) we come pleading to you NFL teams. Please please do us this one favor and hire Kiffin away!!

ReplyDeleteAppalling performance in the bowl. Think about where USC was 5 years ago at this time. Brings tears to my eyes... Cant imagine the AD will allow this to go on for much longer, or he'll be looking for a new job as well!
ReplyDeleteI gagged seriously on a Sun Bowl yesterday. Bob & Betty carry "$-clout" at the USC alumni desk, no? I carry Cardinal and Gold in my veins, but not so much as they in my walllet (after all those tuition payments!!). Can they do anything (and I do mean - ANYTHING!) to excise the "Kurse of Kiffen"? Bullets? Poison?
ReplyDeleteDon't know an alum (including my sons) that isn't ready to punt Lame Kiffen through the uprights all the way back to Tennessee. It's not about sanctions, scholarships or other excuses - Hayden is tap-dancing & dodging around obvious facts: Kiffen had a team that any NFL squad would have drooled a river into Albequrque in order to sign on their roster. The talent was there in spades. It's the coaching that sucked. I use that term with the utmost effort of Catholic charity.
Case in point: "Up the middle" 4x consecutively against Notre Dame? - the best defensive line in college football?? Seriously? Why does he even need that big laminated placard if the only play printed on it is ""up the middle"?
Case in point #2: The ONLY team to score less than 13 points against Georgia Tech this season was the Presbyterian Blue Hose, a valiant little school with only 1300 students. USC scored less than they.
Case in Point #3: Robert Woods, after the loss and considering the implosive collapse Kiffen delivered to Barkley's future career prospects, threw in the towel. If Woods sees the grim equation of USC football hobbled by Kiffen at much closer range than most, what's wrong with Hayden's vision and mathematical proficiency?
I don't know an alum who's not banging their head against the wall right now. There are tears everywhere.
I'm begging Bob and Betty to either (1) drop donations until he's fired or (2) double them when he's fired. Either works. The Trojan nation and it's heritage hangs tragically tattered on Kiffen's rather dull spearpoint right now...
